Spring, summer, fall or winter, Kelowna Ramada and surrounding area offer much to see and do.

Kettle Valley Railway: The Kettle Valley Steam Railway offers a unique ninety-minute journey on one of British Columbia's few remaining fully operational steam railways. Passengers enjoy a tour along a preserved ten-kilometre section of the original Kettle Valley Railway constructed between 1910 and 1915. The locomotive, a 1924 Shay steam engine, pulls two 1950's passenger coaches and the Kettle and Valley Kars (open air). Friendly, informative guides bring the history of the railway alive as the train chugs along hillsides overlooking beautiful Okanagan orchards and vineyards.

Big White: With an average of 24.5 feet of light champagne powder every year, Big White is a skiiers paradise. Featuring one 8 Passenger Gondola, four High-speed detachable quad chairs, one Fixed Grip Quad, one T-bar, one Triple Chair, one Double Chair, two Leitner Tube Lifts, one Handle Tow and a children's wonder carpet, getting to the top is easy. Wineries: As the ideal wine valley, the Okanagan is known for its picturesque wineries that overlook Okanagan Lake. The climate and setting of the Okanagan Valley provides the perfect conditions for wine grapes. The quality of grapes grown here produce some of the best wines in Canada and are known throughout the world.

Prospera Place: Prospera Place is a focal point for sports, entertainment, community events and business in the Okanagan. For concerts and shows, this state-of-the-art centre will offer spectators an excellent view from every seat.

Golf: A great selection of world-class facilities await golfers where the scenery and climate are both out of this world. Golf Digest, for example, rated three Kelowna-area golf courses with four stars in the Places to Play booklet. The ratings are based on playability, conditioning, value and overall levels of service.
